Part-time employees are entitled to additional pay as soon as they exceed the scheduled number of hours worked on a given day.

Communication delays in the relationship with a business partner caused by an employee's illness is not a reason to provide that business partner with information about the details of the employee's illness.

Employers must refer employees whose medical certificates have been extended (under Article 31m sec. 1 of the so-called covid act) for examinations confirming their ability to work no later than 28 December 2023.

The social fund can also be used to finance benefits-in-kind for employees, such as gifts or Christmas packages. 

In order to avoid losing the UKR status due to leaving Poland for a period of less than 30 days, a Ukrainian citizen returning to Poland during border check should inform the Border Guard on entry in connection with the use of temporary protection and present the diia.pl document.

This 25 percent of the per diem is for other minor expenses. The regulations do not indicate what kind of expenses these are. Nor do they condition the granting of this part of the per diem on the employee actually incurring any expenses. 

It is unacceptable in the workplace to discriminate on the basis of religion or sexual orientation, but neither can one's policy of inclusion force employees to change their views.
