The European Commission has proposed extending temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens for another year.

• If an employee does not retain the right to a sick leave bonus, it should be added to the base for calculating the benefit

In the opposite situation, if on sick leave the employee retains the right to the bonus, it is not included in the benefit calculation base.

• Stamp in a passport is not a travel document

A stamp placed in a foreigner's passport after applying for a residence permit is a confirmation of the correct submission of an application for a temporary residence permit, permanent residence permit or residence of a long-term EU resident.

• The cost of free transportation of contractors to and from the workplace is their income only if it can be calculated and attributed to a specific contractor

On 10 October 2023, the Voivodeship Administrative Court in Jelenia Góra (ref. no. I SA/Wr 906/2022) issued a judgment on the taxation of the cost of free transportation of contractors to and from the workplace.
