The Homeland Defense Act significantly affects the relationship between employers and employees-soldiers and even their family members.

Depending on the type of service performed, both professional and non-professional, employees are entitled to numerous and varied rights. At the same time, employers often lose the freedom to manage employment contracts concluded with such employees, for example in terms of their termination.
