From the beginning of 2023, the minimum wage is PLN 3,490 per month, and the minimum hourly rate is PLN 22.80. As of 1 July 2023, the minimum wage will be PLN 3,600 per month, while the minimum hourly rate will be PLN 23.50.

The increase in the minimum wage means, among other things, that workers earning less than PLN 3,600 gross per month will have to be paid more. To this end, an addendum to the employment contract should be concluded with the employee.

The increase in the minimum wage also means an increase in other benefits, including: night work allowance, minimum compensation for unequal treatment, minimum idle time pay and maximum severance pay.
