In 2023 there will be a total of two increases in the minimum wage:

• from January 2023 - the minimum wage will increase to PLN 3,490 gross, 
• and from July 2023 - to the PLN 3,600 gross. 

The increase in the minimum wage also means an increase in the hourly rate:

• from January 2023 to PLN 22.80, 
• and from July 2023 - to PLN 23.50. 

Thus, ultimately the minimum wage will increase by PLN 590, which is a record increase.  

The minimum wage affects, among other things, the following employer benefits: cash severance pay for group dismissals, night work allowance, compensation for unequal treatment and mobbing, or downtime pay.
