Further increase in employment costs. A new provision of the proposed Act on Employment of Foreigners to replace the Act on Promotion of Employment and Labour Market Institutions introduces the principle of setting mandatory contributions to the Labour Fund already from half of the minimum wage.

Assuming a minimum wage of PLN 3,490 gross (from July 2023 - PLN 3,600 gross), an entrepreneur will be required to pay a contribution on the earnings of no less than PLN 1,745 gross per month (from July 2023 - PLN 1,800 gross).
