2022.10.14
The Poland.Business Harbour (PBH) program has been expanded to include companies in strategic industries, implementing projects that are important for the development of the Polish economy.
Until now, the PBH visa has been available to highly skilled IT / New Tech employees who are citizens of only selected countries: Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Russia.
As of now, the list of countries covered by the program is disappearing under this path.
If additional criteria are met, citizens of all countries may apply PBH is, in practice, a comprehensive facilitation package aimed at individual IT / New Tech professionals and their families, as well as start-ups and mature companies - from micro to macro entrepreneurs - considering relocating to Poland.
The main element of the program is a special type of visa that exempts people from having a work permit and allows them to set up a sole proprietorship business in Poland.
The PBH visa is not dedicated to remote work from the territory of Poland for foreign entities, but due to the lack of work permit requirements, it often serves such a function.
