As of 28 July this year, the per diem rate for employees on domestic business trips is PLN 38. So far, it has been PLN 30. This is the first change since 2013.

In connection with the increase in the per diems, the following also increase:

•  the lump sum to cover the cost of travel by local transportation, representing 20% of the per diem, which amounts to PLN 7.60 (previously PLN 6);
• the lump sum for overnight accommodation, representing 150% of the per diem, which amounts to PLN 57 (previously PLN 45);
• the maximum amount to be reimbursed for one night's accommodation, which is 20 times the per diem rate, which is PLN 760 (previously PLN 600).

The statutory amount of the per diem for domestic business travel is the minimum per diem per day for domestic and foreign business travel.

The remuneration regulations, collective bargaining agreement or employment contract may not set them at a lower amount.
