Responsibility for the damage of an employee in a managerial position | PRO HR Press

2020.10.02

An employer may place higher demands on an employee holding a managerial position, apply higher evaluation criteria and draw further consequences towards him.

The employer must take into account the responsibilities of managers and the nature of their work.

Harsher assessment of the management staff

Even minor violations of the manager may justify the termination of an employment contract. Circumstances that would justify the termination of a regular employee's agreement may result in dismissal in the case of a manager. The assessment of management's behavior and blame is stricter than for other employees.
