This obligation is independent of the time of the year and the conditions in which employees perform their work.

In the case of outdoor work, if the temperature is higher than 25°C, the employer should provide workers with other beverages, in addition to water.

Similarly, if the indoor temperature exceeds 28°C.

The quantity, type and temperature of the beverages should be adapted to the working conditions and the physiological needs of the employees. 

When working in an office, water sources should not be more than 75 meters from the workstations. 

The obligation to provide water to employees also applies to those who perform work in the field as representatives.
