The most important obligations arising from the implementation of the whistleblower protection directive

2023.07.27

There have been several drafts, but for the time being the whistleblower protection bill still hasn't even been voted on.

There are many unknowns that remain unanswered, and they are of great practical importance. This is because the bill could significantly interfere with the mechanisms that have been in place for years for the operation of internal investigations in the broad field of #compliance.

The key questions now are:

  • should we wait for the law?
  • should we start preparing?
  • should we revise the functioning model? (if there is one)

We note that there are already appearances in the practice of citing employees directly to the provisions of the directive.

If you need support in understanding the key obligations arising from the implementation of the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive, or would like to learn about market trends and employee expectations on this topic, this is your opportunity.

Dominika Dörre-Kolasa, Ph.D., Partner at Raczkowski, together with Mateusz Warchał, Ph.D. and Pawel Galec, are implementing a research project that will be a mine of valuable information on the current and future state of whistleblowing and investigations.

All you need to do is to fill out the QUESTIONNAIRE.
