“Paperless in HR” innovative legal and technological project by Raczkowski and Maruta Wachta | Press release

2020.09.02

Raczkowski and Maruta Wachta launch a joint initiative „Paperless in HR” which aims at the partial or total elimination of paper from HR processes and make it digital.

Paperless in HR is a coming revolution in HR departments. It is a digital and communication transformation of HR processes, where paper communication and documents are still widely used.

„Implementing the Paperless in HR program is highly beneficial. Firstly, we optimize the employees’ working time. According to research studies, they spend about 30% of their time searching for information in emails or paper archives. Secondly, we increase the efficiency of business processes and eliminate errors. Research shows that 11% of all paper documents are lost or incorrectly archived / stored in the system.

Thirdly, it incurs huge financial savings. We get rid of costs of paper, office space for paper storage, and the whole process of storing and handling paper documents. American studies show that a company employing 500 workers can save up to USD 2 million a year by reducing the time spent on dealing with document overload by 15%. Of course, let’s not forget about the responsible, ecological way of doing business, and the COVID-19 pandemic that forced companies to urgently change and adapt HR to online processes” – commented Katarzyna Sarek-Sadurska, partner at Raczkowski.

Paperless in HR is to be implemented in six steps:
we start with auditing HR processes, recommend legal and organizational changes, and advice on selecting a technological tool. Next we support in implementing the chosen tool and communicating it internally and externally. We offer regular "paperless" audits and certification to clients who want to make sure that the process is being correctly implemented.
