Recent days have brought the announcement of important changes in the employment and residence of foreigners. We decided to organize a brief summary of the news that employers must face. Michał Kacprzyk and Jan Pietruczuk invite you to a webinar during which they will discuss the challenges of the coming weeks along with the practical solutions they have developed for you. 
 
Agenda:

  • Changes in the status of Ukrainian citizens arriving due to the war. The government changes its mind at the last minute on the right of their continued stay in Poland.
  • The end of the "covidova fiction". Foreigners' residence permits will not be renewed. Foreigners may lose their right to stay in Poland. 
  • Changes in the status of Russian citizens. What next for their work and residence in Poland? The government is introducing more restrictions. 

 
 

 

Speakers

Head of the Immigration and Global Mobility Practice / Doctor of Juridical Sciences / LL.M.

Michał specialises in all aspects of employing foreigners in Poland, including implementing the most effective practices. In addition, he advises on the international mobility of employees, complex issues related to corporate immigration at all stages of people planning and hiring, as well as the posting of workers to provide services abroad.

His expertise covers all cross-border HR aspects. He supports clients in coordinating and implementing all of their national and international HR requirements.

He is an author of many publications and comments in scientific journals and newspapers. Michał is a member of The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Bar Association.

Jan deals with HR and immigration law, in particular with issues related to the residence and work legalisation of employees. He conducts administrative proceedings, and advises foreigners on matters connected with their employment and stay in Poland.

Law student at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University, actively involved in the scientific movement. He served as chairman of the Law and the East Academic Club.
