We are a partner of the Targeting Job Burnout campaign

2021.11.04

As part of our pro bono programme, we have become a content partner of the social campaign "Targeting Job Burnout", organised by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers and Angelini Pharma Polska.

It is aimed to raise awareness among employers and employees about the occupational burnout phenomenon of and its impact on employees' mental health and organisation effectiveness. It will also research the mechanisms used in organisations to counteract this problem, which will result in the first such report in Poland.

"Work-related stress affects almost every employee. The consequence of this stress and excessive workload is job burnout. It is the employee and his family, the employer and, in a broader perspective, also society that suffers.
Within the campaign, we want to build awareness of what burnout is, what its causes are and what its individual, organisational and social effects are. We want to make employees and employers aware of how to recognise it, how to prevent it and what to do in case the syndrome occurs – and there are many myths in this subject"
 - said Łukasz Kuczkowski, partner in charge of the project on behalf of our firm.

"In launching the campaign we focused primarily on a qualitative message which will help us achieve the psycho-educational goal by bringing the subject of job burnout closer to the public and fighting the myths which have grown around it. Thanks to Raczkowski law firm's participation in the campaign, we can substantively address the inaccuracies and misrepresentations of formal and legal regulations observed in the public debate, which will certainly raise the level of this debate," added Anna Mistewicz, the initiator of the campaign and member of the management board of Angelini Pharma Polska.

As part of our cooperation, we will support the campaign in topics including challenges for employers and employment law, tools that employers can use to support their employees, counteracting employee burnout, and legal solutions.
