WEBINAR | Workers from Ukraine - how to eliminate risks related to the complex status of foreigners?

Registration for this event has been closed.

9 February | 12:00 — 12:50 | Free online event | Polish language

Starting from the 1st of April 2023, Ukrainian citizens who enjoy EU temporary protection in Poland will be able to submit residence applications, for which not only the foreigners themselves but also their employers must prepare.

Not only Ukrainian citizens who have been employed by local companies will want to take advantage of this opportunity, but also foreigners remaining in Poland but performing work for foreign entities.

Such employment has certain consequences in terms of immigration law, labour law, taxes and social security.

During the meeting, we will discuss the main challenges of recent months, which include:

  • Actions aimed at legalisation of work and residence of Ukrainian citizens in Poland
  • Performing remote work from the territory of Poland for a foreign entity
  • Tax and social insurance implications related to the performance of work by Ukrainian citizens in the territory of Poland.

We will suggest what actions to plan and how to eliminate risks related to the complex status of Ukrainian citizens.
