Polish government approved proposal of a new law on corporate criminal liability. Under the new regulations, all criminal offenses and tax offenses committed in connection with the activity of a company which is operating in Poland may be prosecuted. In the extraordinary situations the court may  liquidate the company or fine it (up to PLN 30 million). The new law requires the medium size and large businesses to implement compliance management systems: building organizational structures responsible for compliance, rules and procedures for dealing with suspected offenses, conducting internal investigations, protection of whistleblowers.

The new law shall be enacted by the Parliament within the following month.
