The Rising Stars competition was organized for the first time in 2012. Since the beginning it has been very popular in the legal environment, which is visible in the annual number of received candidacies.

The aim of the competition is to appoint young lawyers, whose 35th birthday is still ahead of them, and who outstand in their professional work as well as the conduct of life.

In the firm, adw. Karolina Schiffter directs the immigration department and Global Mobility. As one of the small number of lawyers in Poland, she concentrates her practice on immigration business law and advices her clients in terms of relocating lawyers to Poland, as well as delegating Polish lawyers abroad.

The candidates were evaluated by: Krzysztof Jedlak, editor-in-chief of DGP (chairman of the event), Włodzimierz Albin, president of Wolters Kluwer Polska, Dariusz Sałajewski, president of the National Bar Association, Andrzej Zwara, president of the Polish Bar Council, Waldemar Koper, president of the board of directors of Polskie Stowarzyszenie Prawników Przedsiębiorstw , Marcin Radwan-Röhrenschef, member of the board of directors of Polski Związek Pracodawców Prawniczych, Agnieszka Tałasiewicz, partner at Ernst & Young Law Tałasiewicz i Wspólnicy sp.k, and Ewelina Skocz, HR & Project Manager at BCSystems.

The official gala will be held on November 14 and will be an occasion to award all finalists and to honor the three winners.
