Germany introduces a statutory minimum wage - Łukasz Kuczkowski

2015.01.30

On 1 January 2015 the Minimum Wage Act (the so-called MiLoG) was adopted in Germany. The Act introduced a minimum wage for work in Germany in the amount of EUR 8.50 gross. Germany claims that the provisions of the Act include, among others, the Polish transit, destination and cabotage truck drivers within the territory of Germany. Due to numerous doubts relating to the contents of the Act, the law firm in cooperation with the sworn translators prepared and made available the Polish translation of the MiLoG.

Should you have any questions related to the application of the Act and its translation, please contact legal advisor Łukasz Kuczkowski lukasz.kuczkowski@raczkowski.eu.
