Win before the Supreme Court in a case brought by a former employee of a transport company, represented by Katarzyna Dobkowska.

It was one of many cases in which employees claimed compensation for the loss of the notice period, limited in an agreement on redundancies to 3-month remuneration. The employees claimed that since they are entitled to a 6-month notice period under a single- and multi-establishment collective labor agreement, it also included compensation of 6 times the monthly remuneration for the loss of the notice period. According to the Supreme Court, the provisions of collective agreements extending the notice periods do not apply when employment is terminated by mutual agreement.
