Currently, employers must submit copies of contracts with foreign nationals only in the case of work permits on the basis of a declaration on entrusting work to a foreigner.

The contract must be submitted electronically using a digital system before the employment starts.

A copy of a contract does not have to be submitted for anyone who resides and works in Poland on the basis of a temporary residence permit for work, an EU Blue Card or anyone who is exempted from needing a work permit, e.g. students, graduates of Polish studies, Ukrainian nationals working under a notification on entrusting work.
