Merger of the law firms of Raczkowski Paruch and Kancelaria Prawa Pracy Iwona Jaroszewska-Ignatowska

We are proud to announce that on 1 September 2017 the Raczkowski Paruch law firm is merging with Kancelaria Prawa Pracy Iwona Jaroszewska-Ignatowska.

Iwona Jaroszewska-Ignatowska will be a partner in Raczkowski Paruch.

She is a legal advisor, a Doctor of Juridical Science and a recognized expert in labour law. She has nearly 20 years of experience in providing legal services in labour law as the director of a consulting firm’s legal department and as in-house counsel in a large corporation, followed by a decade of running her own labour law firm in which she managed an 8-person team of lawyers providing legal services to tens of corporate clients on a regular basis. In her practice, Ms Jaroszewska-Ignatowska focuses predominantly on issues related to working time, including the implementation and execution of emergency response contingency plans, transfers, group dismissals, voluntary redundancy programmes, temporary work, outsourcing, in-company sources of labour law, termination of employment contracts and negotiations with trade unions, also conducted as part of collective disputes. She assists her clients in applying labour law regulations while incorporating their specific business needs and corporate rules related to their codes of ethics and values. As an academic lecturer at post-graduate courses in employment law, Ms Jaroszewska-Ignatowska is also regularly invited to speak at conventions, conferences, symposia and workshops in labour law during which she shares her expertise with individuals in charge of managing staff to help them solve the practical challenges involved in managing employees on a day-to-day basis. She is also the author of numerous publications on labour law.

Six lawyers will join Raczkowski Paruch along with Ms Jaroszewska-Ignatowska:

Following the merger, the Raczkowski Paruch team will consist of 53 lawyers. Among them is Łukasz Pisarczyk, PhD Hab., a professor at the University of Warsaw, one of the greatest authorities in labour law in Poland. Raczkowski Paruch has offices in Warsaw, Katowice and Poznań.
